Rollei RHC FILM DEVELOPER

Rollei High Contrast Developer is a high energy developer designed for producing high contrast in films, and can also be used as a special paper developer when contrast is needed to be boosted (up to 1 grade).

Dilution of the concentrate is 1+4 for use. Supplied in an oxygen impermeable PET bottle with childproof cap - it seems more flimsy than most standard chemical bottles, but is very tough and highly resistant to oxidation of the contents.

Rollei RLC FILM DEVELOPER

Special developer for technical film materials with very steep gradation, which produces normal contrast negatives which will print easily. Negatives show a very fine grain structure, high edge sharpness and well separated tonal range. Suitable films include Rollei Ortho 25, and it could also be used as a replacement for Technidol with remaining stocks of Technical Pan.
Dilution of the concentrate is 1+4

The developer oxidises easily, hence is supplied in a glass bottle, and working solution should only be made up just prior to use.

Rollei RHS FILM DEVELOPER

A new developer with sharp and highly compensating characteristics, and suitable for use with virtually all films on the market today, times and dilutions being listed on the bottle label. This replaces the previously marketed R3 High Speed Developer, and allows a wide speed range with R3 film, from 100 to 6400 ISO.
Dilution of the concentrate ranges from 1+7 to 1+15

Supplied in an oxygen impermeable PET bottle with childproof cap - it seems more flimsy than most standard chemical bottles, but is very tough and highly resistant to oxidation of the contents.

Rollei WETTING AGENT

With Rollei film, ROLLEI R ³ WETTING AGENT is recommended. This has a dilution of 1+1000, and is supplied with a measuring syringe. Use a one minute immersion without film movement (to avoid foaming,see below).
The wetting agent should not be overdosed. It can be used several times only if several films are processed one directly after another.
Foam does not clear the film surface easily. Water should be added to the wetting agent only slowly to avoid foam generation.
It is helpful to prepare the wetting bath together with the developer, as any foam generated during mixing will then have time to disintegrate while the film is being processed.

Rollei RXA RAPID FIXER

ROLLEI RXA (1+4 to 1+9) an advanced high-performance fixing bath on an ammonium-thiosulfate base.
It is advisable to determine fixing time before the actual process with the aid of a clearing test on a piece of undeveloped film (e.g.the leader). To do this, immerse the piece of film in the
solution and measure the time it takes to clear completely.
If the fixing bath is used several times, clearing will take longer with the number of films processed. When the clearing time reaches twice the value of a fresh bath, the solution should be discarded and a fresh bath used.
