ILFOCHROME CLASSIC PAPER

The prices are not a mistake! Substantial increases have now come through, (22/8/07) although the chemistry is now a bit cheaper.

The Ilfochrome Classic system is a quick and easy way to make high quality colour enlargements direct from slides and transparencies. Ilfochrome is available on a polyester base with a mirror like high-gloss finish, as well as RC base with ordinary RC glossy finish. Both are now only in medium contrast.
Process is in P30/P30P chemicals.
An important attribute is that there is no mass-produced colour print material that remotely approaches the permanence of Ilfochrome polyester-based prints. Accelerated ageing tests suggest that no noticeable fading or staining will occur over a period of 500 years in dark storage. Under display conditions permanence will vary with lighting, but Ilfochrome will generally substantially outlast RA and other reversal print materials.
