We are located a little south of Blackfriars Bridge and not very far from the South Bank Arts Complex.
If coming by tube take the Northern or Bakerloo line to Waterloo or Jubilie line to Southwark. On leaving Waterloo station follow the signs for the Old Vic Theatre, which is at the intersection of Waterloo Road and The Cut. To the left of the Theatre and next to the Theatre Box Office is Webber Street. Valentine Place is the 3rd street on the left along Webber Street just past a pub called The Stage Door.
By bus, the following bus routes pass close:
1, 4, 26, 45, 58, 63, 68, 76, 77, 100, 139, 168, 171, 172, 176, 188, 211, 243, 341, 381, 507, 521, RV1.
By rail. Approximately 5 minutes walk from Waterloo Main Line and Waterloo East railway stations, and 10 minutes walk from Elephant & Castle railway station.
By car it is best to approach from Blackfriars Road, travelling south from the river. Parking outside is on single yellow lines and there is usually space in the street.
If you have to travel far to reach us, please contact us to make sure we have what you need, and we will then reserve it.
FAQs
Do you have a minimum order?
yes, for all UK orders, it's a minimum of £25. All UK orders must legally carry VAT at the standard rate, with the exception of the Channel Isles who are VAT exempt and can use the non-VAT prices. For international, it's £100.
Is ordering secure?
Yes. All transactions are protected with high-grade 256-bit encryption.
How long will my order take?
Normal delivery is about 3 to 5 working days. If next-day delivery is required you will get your parcel next working day anytime bewteen 9am to 5pm. For overseas deliveries to Europe times will vary, call us for more details.
I made a mistake in my order! How can I fix it?
If the order has not yet printed, we can fix it. Send an e-mail through our enquiry form with your order number and an enquiry. If the order has already shipped, call us.
What are your postage costs?
This charge scheme is to all UK addresses except those listed below. We have a simple charge system, £6.85 to most areas of the UK on all consignments up to £100 value (inc VAT). Above £100 value we absorb the shipping cost and the delivery is free to the customer. For UK deliveries we normally use Parcel Force, whom we have found to be the most efficient carrier for home deliveries. Signature is required on delivery, and if a delivery cannot be effected, a card requesting arrangement of an alternative delivery time is left at the address. Delivery can be up till 5.00 pm. Some less populated regions of the UK can only be supplied by carrier at a high charge.
Which we have a flat rate of £8 plus VAT and it will take at least 2/3 working days.

What are your express delivery costs?
24 hours delivery is £12, no matter the amount of the order. Orders must be placed by 2pm for next day delivery. Otherwise an order will be processed the following working day.
What are your postage costs in Europe?
We have a minimum order of £100 Sterling European deliveries, and outside Europe are handled by selected sub-contractors of Parcel Force who have been found to offer the best combination of price and service, see Zone tarriff . We have excellent shipping rates to most European destinations, and this prices shown includes weights up to 25kg. We regret we are unable to send chemicals, both raw chemicals and manufactured products to destinations outside the UK.

These prices are without VAT if applicable. For extremely urgent deliveries where precise timing is required we can use an express courier service, and we normally offer TNT - the charges for this level of service are much higher and must be quoted on an individual basis.
What are your postage costs outside Europe?
We have a minimum order of £100 Sterling. We regret we are unable to send chemicals, both raw chemicals and manufactured products to destinations outside the UK. Please contact us for shipping quotations to worldwide destinations, which will be worked out on an individual basis depending on urgency and budget.
Who do you ship with?
We don't use Royal Mail. Our courier is Parcel Force. They require a signature upon delivery. If no one's in to sign for it, then they'll leave a calling card, where you re-arrange another delivery date. If you're in London, we can delivery on the same day, either by bike or car. Prices vary, depending on your postcode. Please ring us for prices

Can you ship chemicals outside UK?
While Silverprint aims to supply as wide a range of photo materials as possible to as many territories as possible, we are totally committed to safe and legal practices, and for this reason we are unable to ship any raw chemicals outside the borders of the UK
Numerous restrictions and regulations govern the international transport of chemical products. This includes very specific requirements regarding labelling and packaging; in most cases primary and secondary packaging are required which meet rigid specifications.
This legislation imposes restrictions that make it impossible (at reasonable cost) to internationally ship small quantities of photographic chemicals legally. Conversely, to comply totally with the requirements would make these shipments uneconomical.
Is there anything you can't ship?
Yes, unfortunately, we can't send 5 litres bottles of liquid chemicals with Parcel Force. If you're in the London area, we arrange for a parcel car to deliver to you.
For international orders we don't send any chemicals (liquid or powder) outside the UK.
