FILTERS
Two types of filter sets are produced for either above or
below lens use. Filters are included for grades 00 to 5, as
well as red safe filter.
The above the lens system comes in two sizes (8.9 and 15cm square). These will normally need trimming down to fit your filter drawer. If a filter drawer is not available, a below lens kit is produced to fit under the prime lens. This is supplied with a collar which can be retained on the enlarger by screwing it into place with the lens - as long as it is a standard Leica (40.5mm) thread.
Changing filters is quicker with the below lens system, but the optical performance is more likely to suffer as the filters show their age, so the above lens sets are the best choice if you have the option.
If filters larger than 15 cm are required they can be
purchased individually in 30x30cm size.
