They are more satisfactory than laminating, as the contents can be easily rehoused when the sleeve becomes damaged. Welded on three sides, with the opening on one short side. A tip - when inserting a print you could try first inserting two ‘shoehorns’, folded pieces of paper that you put inside the sleeve at each side to act as guides when the print is inserted. The prints will slide in easily, then remove the guides.
